A Little About Britt

Raised by a single mother in Orlando, FL , Britt landed his first TV spot at the age of four . It was during a trip to the library with his mother that a local television station asked if he could be in their PSA. However by the age of twelve Britt knew for sure that he wanted to be a major league baseball player...and a semi truck driver and a policeman, cowboy, ninja, etc. So his mother enrolled him in acting classes at the Bethea Epsen School of the Arts (founded by Buddy Epsen of The Beverly Hillbillies fame).

After high school Britt attended college with the intention of becoming a physical therapist as a back up plan to acting, during one week of finals he landed a part in a commerical. This left him with a choice to make so he choose to take it as a sign and went with his first love of acting.

In 1998 Britt moved to New York City after being accepted into The New Actors Workshop, a conservatory run by Mike Nichols, George Morrison and Paul Sills. He soon began to find steady work on stage, tv and film . An avid martial artist since the age of 7 Britt competed in 2000 at the US OPEN , the largest martial arts tournament in the world , placing 2nd in the heavyweight divison.

In January 2001 Britt packed his truck and headed west to pursue his lifelong passion of making it in the major leagues of acting. By God’s good grace he hit the ground running. Shortly after arriving in Los Angeles he became a member of The Met Theater, where he appeared in the world premiere of Western Big Sky , which was met with a warm welcome by LA critics and extended. The success of the show lead to even more film work.

When not working Britt continues his studies with acting coach Sharon Chatten and enjoying the journey which he feels blessed to be on.
